By downloading, installing, or using the SPENT application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

SPENT is designed with your privacy in mind. All expense data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device using SQLite database technology.

Data Storage: Your financial data, including expenses, categories, and any other information you input, remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third-party services.

Your Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and backing up your data. SPENT is not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, uninstallation, or other circumstances.

4. App Availability and Updates

We strive to keep the App available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We may release updates, bug fixes, and new features from time to time. While we encourage you to keep the App updated, you are not required to install updates. However, older versions may not function properly or may lack security improvements.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

SPENT does not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. You use the App at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any unauthorized access to or use of your data
• Any errors or omissions in the App's functionality
• Any loss of data stored on your device

7. Financial Information Disclaimer

SPENT is a tool for tracking personal expenses and is not intended to provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The App's analytics and insights are for informational purposes only.

You should consult with qualified professionals for specific financial advice. SPENT is not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information tracked or displayed in the App.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, user interface, and all related intellectual property, is owned by SPENT and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our express written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms and Conditions.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will immediately cease.
